How often do you need to maintain LP SmartSide?

LP SmartSide is primed or painted at the factory. Since the painting is part of the production process it creates a very durable finish that typically just needs routine cleaning it mold or mildew form on it. The LP SmartSide can be easily cleaned. Besides typical cleaning, it is important to seal any areas of the siding that has cracked or that has been penetrated in any way that exposes the wood fiber.

How is LP SmartSide made?
