Open prairie means storms hit fast and hard out here. If you've got missing shingles, downed limbs on the roof, or water coming in where it shouldn't, call us. We'll get there quickly and inspect everything.
The Reality
A lot of homes in Moberly and across Randolph County were built between the 1950s and 1970s. Good bones, solid construction. But the roofs have been through decades of hail, wind, and temperature swings that wear shingles down faster than most people realize.
Then there's the exposure. Without the hills and tree cover you get further south, storms roll across this area with nothing to slow them down. Wind-driven rain finds every weak point. Hail hits harder on flat terrain. And when a tornado tracks through open country north of Columbia, the peripheral winds alone can lift shingles off roofs miles from the path.
After every major storm, crews from other states flood into Randolph County knocking on doors. They offer cheap prices, rush through the work, and by the time the first leak shows up, they are three states away doing the same thing to someone else.
We've been doing roofing in this area for over 15 years. Our Moberly office means you're working with people who are accountable, who will still be here next year.

Mid-Missouri’s weather demands a lot from a roof. Here’s what we install and when each one makes sense.
The workhorse of Mid-Missouri roofs. Affordable, proven, and available in styles that look far better than what went on your house 20 years ago.
50+ year lifespan, reflects heat in summer, sheds snow in winter. Higher upfront cost, but you may never replace it again.
Commercial-grade systems for low-slope and flat sections. We install TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen, and we’ll tell you which one fits your building.
The 100-year roof. Natural stone that looks better as it ages. Not for every home or every budget, but if yours can handle the weight, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime install.
The warmth of natural wood or the durability of composite shake. DaVinci composites give you the look without the wildfire risk or constant maintenance.
Spanish, mission, and flat tile profiles. Heavy and permanent. If you want a roof that looks stunning and outlasts you, this is it.
Centuries of proven performance. Clay tile breathes, insulates naturally, and just looks better with age.

Common Questions
Does Moberly require a permit for roof replacement?
Yes. The City of Moberly requires building permits for roof replacements. The process is straightforward and we handle the paperwork for you: pulling the permit, coordinating the inspection, and making sure everything meets code. You won't need to take time off work to deal with it.
How does the open terrain around here affect roofs?
There's not much between here and Kansas to slow the wind down. Storms hit harder and move faster through Randolph County than through towns with natural windbreaks. We see more lifted shingles, exposed underlayment, and ridge caps peeled back out here. Six nails per shingle instead of four, and materials rated for high wind, make a real difference in this kind of exposure.
My home was built in the 1960s. Is a full replacement necessary?
Not always, but most roofs from that era are past their useful life. Those original roofs have been through 50+ years of Missouri weather. We'll inspect yours and tell you straight whether a repair makes sense or whether you're throwing good money at a roof that needs replacing.
Are you actually local, or just another company that sends crews from out of town?
We have a Moberly office and crews who work this area regularly. Headquarters is in Columbia, about 35 miles south, and we've had a presence in Randolph County for years. When something comes up after the install, you're calling the same team that did the work.
How long does a typical roof replacement take?
Most residential roofs are done in one to two days. We schedule around the weather, and we'll give you a specific start date. If storms push us back, we communicate that immediately. You'll know exactly when we're coming and how long we'll be there.
