Should I repair my siding or replace it?
It depends on how far the damage goes and what is behind it. A few cracked panels or one rotten board on a healthy wall: repair. Widespread fading, brittleness, bulging sections, or moisture in the layers underneath: replacement usually wins within a few years versus chasing repairs. We will tell you honestly which one your house needs.
Can you install new siding over my existing siding?
Technically it is sometimes possible, and we almost never recommend it. Covering old siding traps whatever moisture and damage is already there, voids or weakens many manufacturer warranties, and pushes window and trim details out of alignment. A proper tear-off costs more on day one and is nearly always the cheaper decision over the life of the siding. We will show you why on your own walls.
Will insurance cover my storm-damaged siding?
If hail, wind, or debris caused the damage, your homeowner’s policy likely covers restoration, minus your deductible.
